Troubleshooting Location Tracking

  1. My location tracking isn’t working on iOS. What should I do? 

If your location tracking is not working on iOS, follow these steps:

  • Ensure location services are enabled: Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and make sure it’s turned on.
  • Check app permissions: Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Hidden Kingdoms and select Always to allow location access.
  • Enable Background App Refresh: Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and make sure it’s enabled for Hidden Kingdoms.
  • Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue.
  • My location tracking isn’t working on Android. What should I do? 

If your location tracking is not working on Android, follow these steps:

  • Ensure location services are enabled: Swipe down from the top of your screen and ensure the location icon is active.
  • Check app permissions: Go to Settings > Apps > Hidden Kingdoms > Permissions and ensure location access is granted.
  • Enable background data usage: Go to Settings > Apps > Hidden Kingdoms > Data Usage and make sure background data is allowed.
  • Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue.
  1. I followed the steps, but my location tracking is still not working. What else can I do?
  • Ensure you have a strong GPS signal by going outside or moving to an open area.
  • Make sure your device’s operating system is up to date.
  • Reinstall the Hidden Kingdoms app to ensure you have the latest version.

Soundscapes and Emergency Contact

  1. How do I access soundscapes? Soundscapes can be accessed from the main screen of the app. Simply tap the Soundscapes button to choose from a variety of calming sounds. you can select soundscapes during a check-in when the app offers you interventions to help manage your journey.
  2. How do I set up an emergency contact? To set up an emergency contact:
  • Open the app and go to Home.
  • Tap on Your Profile and then click Edit next to Your Support Network.
  • Here, you can update your two designated contact persons.
  • Save the information to ensure the app can reach them when needed.

3. How does the emergency contact feature work? If you encounter an emergency, you can quickly contact your designated person through the app. The app will dial your chosen emergency contact.
